A natural stone shade on a braided cord, topped with a wood cap. Hang one over a bedside table or a desk, or hang two or three at different heights over a kitchen counter. Choose a low drum or a tall cylinder, with a walnut-tone or a natural wood cap.

• Natural stone: every shade is slightly different in colour, pores and banding. That is part of the look, and the stone makes it heavy for its size, so use a solid ceiling fixing.
• Adjustable height: braided cord, up to about 180 cm (71 in), with a 10 cm (3.9 in) round ceiling plate.
• Soft, focused light: the light shines down out of the open base. It is accent light over a surface, not a main light.
